Enjoy the charm and uniqueness of Ridgefield Kayak Rentals, located in a boathouse on Lake River, a tributary of the Columbia River, adjacent to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Just a few minutes north of Portland, our boathouse is designed for personal and group instruction as you are fitted for your kayak and launched from step-down platforms.
We welcome you to our eighth season of operation. Your paddling opportunities are vast and offer you access to the Columbia River, Lewis River, Bachelor Island, Lake River and Vancouver Lake. Here, you are surrounded by the 5,150 acres of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy the magical solitude, the amazing birding opportunities and the historical and cultural history of Lewis and Clark and the Cathlapotle Plankhouse. See Trip Descriptions.
